Our school is an elementary school (also providung the offer to look after

our pupils) in the administrative district of Kassel (Hessen). Every school year is

represented twice. During the current school period we have 190 pupils. At the school

we employ eight teachers, one protestant an one catholic priest, one

student teacher and at times as well student within their practical training.

On our school ground you will find a sports hall, the "Former School" (offer

to look after the pupils, museum of local history, club rooms, local library,

youth centre), playing field, several small biotopes (school pond, hedge for

the protection of birds, three path, Wandbegrünung ) and various playing

equipment. There are also several subject rooms: water workshops/project room,

computer room, kitchen, music and media room.

During our work we put the emphasis on the area of ecological education as well

as creating school as a "Lebensraum" (biosphere).
